World HQ.
Gallery Belew has begun in Bredonborough. Two boxes of Ade's paintings arrived just before I left for G3 and, now that stuff has subsided sufficiently (or I'm getting better with handling it), I have opened the boxes and put several Belewbeloid canvases on the walls.

DGM HQ. 20.24
The Late Shift is underway. David & Robert are fine-tuning Disc IV of The 21st. Century Guide: KC Live in 1973-4.
20.53 This particular current, somehow both romantic & nostalgic but more substantial than either of those words imply, came to an end in 1971. 1972 was Larks' & a very different current came into the Crimson world.
21.10 Disc I: Studio 1969-71.
21.23 The mellotron wind-up in Epitaph remains astonishing. As a dramatic use of dynamics, it is probably unsurpassed in its field.
David & Robert have been discussing the DGM Website.
Q. What is its aim?
A. Primarily, to be a way of making music & information publicly available. As a site for e-commerce, it is secondary. Free material may be made available from RF & The Vicar, but not KC. We can't give away the work of others.
Q. How will it be funded?
A. Mainly by voluntary contributions. If our work has any value, the site will be supported. Otherwise, we can close.
Fundamentally, this replaces live performance as a way of presenting oneself to the world.
21.57 Cadence & Cascade: the original version with Gordon on vocals, and some of my favourite lyrics by Peter. Mel on flute, Keith Tippet on piano, Michael & Peter Giles on drums & bass. A delicate mood & one I am currently enjoying. This refers to a world that has quite gone.
22.40 Several interesting sequencing & editing choices made & pending.
23.44 David has left. I played David a G3 Soundscape; David played me some of his recent work.
